I just got Thug Kitchen from the library (I checked it out awhile back but basically just skimmed thru it) and lots of the recipes caught my eye. I might make the Cold Citrus Noodles with Cucumber and Carrots later. Has anyone cooked from this book? Thoughts/review? I've heard of the book for awhile and have never checked out their website. Yet. And new to me, www.pickuplimes.com/blog and her youtube channel. And points IMO for a clever name! She is a dietitian that eats plant based, but more than just recipes, also talks about simplicity, minimalism, nutrition etc. And super fun to get a peek into her life in the Netherlands. Really well-done site, beautiful pics and vids. I haven't tried any recipes yet.

I'm always finding new-to-me blog, sites, cookbooks etc so I will try and remember to come back and post them. A lot of them are baking-oriented because that is what my blog focuses on, but I need to balance that out. I'll mention some of them here in case they have no been talked about before. My Name is Yeh - she has a lot of baked goods, but also a good list of of savory recipes too. Foodiecrush - I have been saving a lot of salads from her site lately. Photos are beautiful and so enticing. Dinner: Changing the Game by Melissa Clark is a cookbook I am going to start going through with a FB group. It looks really good and I have always been a fan of hers. Not new, but I am really enjoying The Cardamom Trail by Chetna Makan who competed in the Great British Bake Off Season Five. For anyone into baking I absolutely love Life, Love and Sugar. Her photos are beautiful and her cakes are what I wish mine could be - very talented, but makes achievable cakes if you have the time and patience.
