I saw this recipe on dunkandcrumble.com for Chocolate Heart Cookies with Whipped Espresso Ganache and I thought I would post it. I haven't made them but for those that are always looking for cookie recipes, here's the recipe: dunkandcrumble.com/depends-how-good-you-live-em/I'll admit the words "espresso ganache" sounded real good! And a picture from her site.

Does sound good. I wonder how the cookie part is. I haven't found a chocolate wafer type cookie that has been quite what I was looking for.

I saw this recipe and copied it down yesterday...it looks delicious, and I admit it was the espresso ganache that hooked me too. I hope it is as good as it looks and that I don't wimp out on them because they are roll and cut out cookies... I'll let you know how they turn out, if I end up making them this weekend or Tuesday night...

Don't whimp out on rolled cookies. Roll the dough between sheets of parchment and then chill. So much easier to roll, cut and move onto sheets (or peel off the exccess and slide the cookies still on the parchment onto the sheet -- I have done that with delicate shapes) and you don't add flour that can take away from both the look and texture of the cookies.
I feel like making something right now, but since we are going out to eat a meal that includes dessert, I think I will wait.
