I am hosting supper club in a couple of weeks and am exploring ideas, this one sounds good to me (if I can afford the beef tenderloin) but I am not sure what would go with it for appetizers and desserts and another vegetable side...can you help please???
Spice Crusted Beef Tenderloin
Adapted from Floyd Cardoz Author: TheSpicedLife
Ingredients 1 beef tenderloin, trimmed of excess fat and silver skin (if you use a smaller portion of it, as I did, you will have leftover spice rub) 1 t Szechwan peppercorns 1 T allspice berries 3½ T black peppercorns 3½ T yellow mustard seeds 4 T coriander seeds 2½ T cumin seeds 1 T kosher salt

and
Samosa Smashed Potatoes

Brussels Sprouts? Creamed spinach? I would suggest roasted cauliflower but probably not with mashed potatoes (color clash). Probably too early for roasted asparagus.
My brain always goes to cheese as a dessert/after dinner option.
I rarely serve appetizers for fear people would get too full to eat my dinner so I will let more experienced people share their opinions.

I had a chicken tikka dinner in 2015 so I have suggestions from that. Maybe my menu will spark something for you For appetizers, I made a pear chutney and bought a mango chutney at Trader Joe's and served with pappadum that I bought and cooked in the microwave. I later saw pappadum chips in the chip aisle at Whole Foods. Would have used those instead! Spicy Spinach (which wasn't terribly spicy) and Raita and Naan on the side. Raita and naan could easily be apps instead of sides. Dessert was Roasted Apple Sorbet and Cranberry Royale Sorbet (both sooooo good!) and some almond tuiles (a pain in the butt, but everyone loved them. No T&T recipe though because I would try another one).

For the appetizers/Amuse Bouche
Belgian endive leaves stuffed with blue cheese or feta cranberries and walnuts.
Verrines
If you Google verrines a glass Act, there are several ideas for layered appetizers and/or desserts. The layered Greek Caprese salad is one way to go. Party stores should probably have disposable tall clear glasses to serve them in. You could use any combination of layered ingredients you like, like salmon whipped cream cheese, and Dill, red onions, tomatoes whatever you like.
How about giant popovers herb and cheese or cheese (gruyere, parmesan, or swiss) popovers to go with.
Tomato soup Shooters served with tiny grilled cheese sandwiches sliced in squares. Stand a slice of cooked bacon in the soup/glass.

I like Erin Elizabeth's chutney/chip suggestion for an appetizer. I also second the suggestion for naan; however, I think it would be better to serve a non-spiced veggie, like buttered green beans, so as not to compete with the other two main course items you're serving (which look awesome!). I would keep dessert light--maybe mango slices with shortbread?

If it isn't redundant, since your side has potatoes, samosas as an appetizer, comes to mind. If memory serves me well, I tried them years ago filled with cooked diced potatoes and peas. They were delicious. There's a good-looking recipe for wonton samosas filled with sweet potatoes, at healingtomato.com. Perhaps you could change out the filling to your liking.

Thanks everyone...you made great suggestions and I have several I copied for another time. I decided on the following menu...
Appetizers: Erin Elizabeth's suggestion of Pear Chutney and Calcook's suggestion of Wonton Samosas Main: Spice Crusted Beef Tenderloin Side: Samosa Smashed Potatoes Green beans with Almond and Lemon Browned Butter Dessert: Grapefruit Meringue Nests with Mixed Berries (I always think of meringues as being very light and airy...)
I doubt anyone will leave hungry...
