I've basically stopped buying cookbooks the last few years (with maybe 1 or 2 squeaking thru) but I thought I would mention......
I saw on today.com that some cookbooks are part of their steals and deals offering. Some of the books are pretty tempting, but I'm not caving. ) (I don't know how the prices compare, have to add shipping, but looks like some good deals, could be good for gift giving too).
For example, some that caught my eye --- two Ina books for $21 plus s/h, and 2 Ottlenghi cookbooks (one is Jerusalem...)
Penguin Random House is offering their healthy cookbook sets from best-selling cookbook authors at a deep discount to TODAY viewers.
Start your year right with 12 healthy cookbook sets!
Learn how to cook with super foods like smoothies, juices, coconut, kale, sprouts, dark chocolate and more.
Choose from a wide assortment of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and low-sugar options.

Oh dear. I hope I didn't hurt your feelings. I should have just said 'thank you' (and I intended to)...but then I got carried away. The title of the thread got me to laffing and I went from there into an LOL mentality. I didn't mean to offend or be thankless. Please forgive me and THANK YOU for sharing the information with us, Applecrisp.

Of course not, nothing at all to apologize for.
I was just passing on some info. I completely got the spirit (and humor) of your post.
And, I didn't cave. I'm trying to stick to my no buying books --- gotta love the library.
