I need whole milk for a recipe and don't want to run out and buy some. I always have half and half on hand, so I usually mix it an wing it. However, I found the following that gives you the amount to mix to create whole, 1%, etc. * Exported from MasterCook * Whole Milk From Skim Milk and Cream Recipe By : Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1.5t heavy cream= 1% milk 1T heavy cream= 2% milk 2T heavy cream= whole milk 5T 1t heavy cream= half-&-half 9T heavy cream= light cream 2T half & half= 1% milk 3T half & half= 2% milk 4T half & half= whole milk Add cream in measuring cup. Top up with skim milk to one cup www.epicurious.com/recipes/member/views/whole-milk-from-skim-milk-and-cream-52684831
