I thought this sounded good, and certainly different from the usual roasted brussel sprout recipe (I like roasted veggies and roasted fruit, just not a combo I've seen many times with brussel sprouts). think I need to buy some pears and brussel sprouts. I saw the recipe on twopeasandtheirpod.com -- the recipe is from Ayesha Curry’s cookbook, The Seasoned Life. Here's a link www.twopeasandtheirpod.com/roasted-pear-and-cranberry-brussels-sprouts/And a picture from the website. (does seem very roasted -- thought it would be all darker).

I made this. it was quite good. I will say that at 450 my oven incinerates things so I would do it again maybe at 425 degrees, and I would add the pears later in the process if they are at all ripe. I used a bosc pear thinking the texture would stay best, but if it were ripe, I'd add it after 10 or 15 minutes instead of with the sprouts. thank you for posting. I will make again.
ETA I made this again and liked it even better. I did 30 min at 425. maybe it's my oven, but 450 is unforgiving! they were nicely browned and the pear was perfect whereas at 450, both were a little over done. I again used a bosc pear but cut it into bigger slices. I am Ok with a few cranberries but it would be fine without. I used only a little lemon squeeze.
