A book to fall in love with AND to crawl into bed with!!
Peek inside the book online at Amazon -- happily, unlike many Kindle samples, it's not a brief sample, either. (And fear not, there is plenty in the book for you if you must eat gluten-free.)
www.amazon.com/Art-Pie-Practical-Homemade-Fillings/dp/1581573278/ref=la_B01F2S5LMG_tnr_p_1_4205_1_twi_har_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1477812159&sr=1-1
BTW: She lives in her "Pie Cottage" up at top of Olympic Penninsula in Anacortes, Wa. She teaches pie making there and in other places in the West. She sounds like a person we would love meeting and taking a class from. Great attitude. And she offers a good variety of pie doughs and sweet or savory pies.
I read a bunch to my daughter on the phone and now SHE is excited to read this book. I think the book is *very* informative. I love it when a really good read in a cookbook comes my way. And, you know it's really good when you should be going to sleep but, instead, you can't put the book down. That's what happened to me. (OH, and she doesn't just chat with you at the front of the book. I notice she does it here and there throughout the book. It's just wonderful. Oh my gosh.)

Two of my friends went to her Pie Camp this summer. They loved it and the pies they have made have made me drool on my computer. Unfortunately, they live in Georgia and I live in NH.
