great idea on covering the hole...simple and effective. I have a pottery dish that could easily be used for that!

Thanks for the reminder about this recipe! I saw it fairly recently; I think it was called "Naughty Chicken" and the recipe plus comments were full of all sorts of commentary about the, um, upright positioning of the central core of the Bundt. No, I don't make this stuff up. But people who'd made it agreed that you should cover the hole of the core (plus putting the pan on a cookie sheet might not be a bad idea), & the recipe sounded so good w/ little taters & carrots underneath that chicken to soak up pan juices. Good way to get another use out of a specialty pan, too.
