My grown daughter wants to make pocket-type pies (crust and filling). I'm not sure if she means sweet or savory ones.
She wrote me: I want to freeze some of them. Do I freeze them BEFORE or AFTER they are baked?
Any experiences or thoughts? I sure will appreciate some. THANKS!!

I dont have experience with this. I would freeze after baking. IMO it would be hard to bake a frozen pie to where inside is done without over baking the crust. I would make, bake, cool, and wrap and freeze immediately. then there would be no question about the contents cooking long enough. just my opinion.
