My friend's doctor told her to help get blood to feet and ankles, anywhere she is, rock toes then heels, back and forth. Following day, I noticed an article online that mentioned similar: rolling feet and ankles in circles. Also mentioned was: in rocking chair with feet planted on floor, rock and keep feet on floor.
Just ideas for those of us who sit too long, or have problems with swelling legs, ankles, feet. (Me, both.)

Great tip; it has been suggested for long flights as well...to help limit blood clots, especially on long flights where you cannot easily get up to take a short stroll.

I have been seeing a couple of physical therapists. The one who specializes in legs told me about a new product that she is hearing raves about. Instead of those kinds of stockings that cut off your circulation and are a b to get on, this place makes a lovely sock thing...and then over it you put their VELCRO support thing. Adjustable (easy)... People are telling her that it has changed life for them. Will be covered by Medicare starting Jan 2024. In meantime, about $100 per leg. I bought ONE in BLACK. We shall see. I've had edema for several years. (Adding: I believe shipping is free...and they are great about returns.) Will give u more info if you want (just have to find it).
