I wonder if anyone has had a good experience with cowboy boots. I want something that is cute, but is a "work boot..." not some fancy-schmancy-afraid-to-wear-and-ruin pair of boots. Is there such a thing? I know Lucchesse are to-die-for, but ....ouch on the $$$ ...and they all seem less every-day and more fancy, at least for women. Am I wrong?
Looking forward to any feedback and sorry if this thread brings out trolls and spammers.

Wish I could help you, but even living most of my life in Texas, I have never owned cowboy/cowgirl boots that I recall. I thought of Frye boots as a name I hear when people talk about quality and I think they make both western and less western styles. There is a western wear store I passed the other day. They have a number of stores in the area and I found their website -- several categories of boots you can explore. WallyCat...I bought my boots at Tractor supply.~Not as expensive as some of the others. Mine are called Justins.
