This thread is the place to begin discussion of a part 2, sequel, supplement or whatever for the 2004 CLBB Cyber Kitchen Cookbook.
First and foremost - is there enough interest in doing a part 2?
The 2004 collection included member contributed recipes -- not CL published recipes. There was a list of member favorite CL recipes and the issue they came from. Kind of assuming here that the criteria would be the same.
I had been thinking that we would just do a supplement or part 2 that you would have to add on to the 2004 cookbook, but it looks like we could get the original into editable documents so that we could blend the two and have a single updated volume. Would you prefer a combined volume or just the new recipes?
The 2004 CB started with nominations -- each person being asked to nominate up to 5 favorites in each category. Those published were
Sweet Beginnings (muffins, pancakes, waffles, quick breads or tea loaves, etc)
Starters
Soups
Salads
Sides
Sauces
Main Dishes (Beef, Pork, Chicken, Turkey, Seafood and Vegetarian)
Breads
Desserts
There had been some discussion about a Slowcooker category. That didn't seem to happen, but I don't know if that was due to lack of nominations or because it wasn't a defined category. Is there enough interest to add that this time? Anything else you would want to add?
Since the BB is no longer, there might be interst in including some comments from or about the BB. Thoughts? Did any of you save threads or discussions that would add intersting bits to the book?
Name -- may depend on whether this is done as a part 2 or as a new, single compilation For example, Second Helpings comes to mind for a supplement or Volume 2, but might not fit so well for a compiled book.
Anything Else?
