If anyone has seen it or can comment on it, I'd love to hear it. I think it is cordless but beyond that, no idea on price or quality.

I just saw it in my email. And while I am sure it is probably a great gadget as Vitamix products usually are superb, I have a Braun immersion blender that is so old but has been so reliable so I can't rationalize replacing it at this time. And between that and my Vitamix blender, I don't see a need for it for me.

I have 2 cuisinart immersion blenders. I use them to puree soup in the cooking pot and make salad dressing, so they don't do difficult work. they both have a dial adjustment for speed that I like. they are corded. fine with that. both ran in the $30-40 range and have been running for many years. Id buy another in a heart beat. pouring hot liquids into a blender was hazardous duty for me! vitamix tends to be pretty pricey and high quality. I cant think of what someone is making that requires that in an immersion blender. not being critical here just wondering.

I have a super reeeeally old Braun (do they even make that anymore?) and it isn't the best design but still works. I see the vitamix has a cord (as does my Braun) and quite pricey. I'm in no rush to replace my Braun. I so rarely use my immersion blender, perhaps I need to re-evaluate my kitchen routines.

I also have a Braun immersion blender that is (*gulp!*) over 30 years old... I'd post a photo of it if I weren't embarrassed to do so, poor thing is cris-crossed with white electrical tape due to a fall off of the kitchen counter about 20 years ago. DH once asked if I wanted another, when he saw me using the bandaged little stick, but I said no, It still works. No doubt Vitamix makes a wonderful product, all of theirs are, but I can't imagine the price. 🥴
