Since I can't go out without a mask (unless not around people, which is hard to do in a city), I'd like to get another mask. And it seems, almost as hard as getting TP at some places unless you go on Etsy and there is a ton of choices. And no surprise many are out of stock or back ordered.
I have a bunch of disposable ones, and one washable.
And, one problem is that my glasses get all foggy (usually) when I wear it. And I absolutely need to have my glasses on when reading etc. I don't see a big difference in any of the ones that I used (whether wire at nose part etc). I did read somewhere about washing the glasses with soap etc. I haven't tried anything yet. I think I need a tighter mask. Anyone else have this prob, any tips?
Unfortunately sewing isn't a skill that I have. I did a DIY one with using some fabric and rubber bands which works out fine but I prefer to have the straps attached. I'm going to try another DIY using a t-shirt.
Have you bought any reusable masks that you have liked?
Never thought I'd be posting this. Wow.
Thanks.

In our community there are many locations that have free cloth masks donated by great sewers. For myself, I use a paper coffee filter. It looks very much like the European surgical masks. I take the cone and fold the seamed part. Take some strips of old t-shirt and staple to the sides that will face my ear with the seam down. I've learned to take a small piece of cloth to staple on the inside. To prevent fogging, I fold the top piece over and gently place it UNDER my glasses. Zero fog. It gives me enough "air" pocket so I don't get the panic attack feeling. It is cheap, disposable (though I've reused mine if it sits for 48 hours or more) and quick to make. I think I posted the medical review on this and some think this is more "protective" than cloth (unless you use cotton and silk together). I'll try and find that thread and repost it here. I notice they choose to put the seam up but it is easier for me to fold the paper and tuck under my glasses with the seam down. My filters are trader joe's unbleached, so it blends nicely on my face, LOL. The blue flannel ties from an old pajama bottom...not so much.
Here are some of the previous links for the filter (and DH made one for me out of my cloth-hepa vacuum bag):

I think some times its anatomical, how your glasses and exhaled breath "line up". I don't wear regular glasses but my sunglasses fog like crazy. DH wears the same sun glasses, but has no fog problem. wearing a mask, my reading glasses fog but I only have them on briefly reading a label in the store. you can buy anti fog solutions to put on glasses. try outdoor stores. they help but not 100%. outdoor shops often have anti fog materials since sunglasses, goggles, helmets with face cover plates tend to have fogging issues

I've ordered these: masks and masks. Neither are perfect, but I find them both good. I've run them through the washer and dryer and they seem OK. They won't last forever, but for awhile. I appreciate the different styles for different trips and uses. My friend made a really light one that I wear when out walking. I wear glasses, too, and the fog is an issue that comes and goes. I read that you can use medical tape to tape the mask under your glasses, but I haven't tried it yet. Unless I find that I will need to wear a mask for a long time I probably won't do it.
I am in OH and here is a list of OH makers. Lots of fun patterns.

I ordered Korean masks on joom because they are cheaper there. Even last year, because I couldn't believe it was only for two weeks, regularly paying off new ones. I like the washable masks better. The kids have the same ones.
