I need to repot some house plants since getting too big for their current pots, and since I have the time ..... I went online to a few place and small terracotta pots can't be shipped. Typically I would go to my favorite plant store but I think they are closed (and don't want to deal with public transport for that regardless). I'm also running low on potting soil. The last bag that I bought had bugs in it --- and I certainly don't want to repeat that. I bet my local hardware has some of the standard terracotta pots, but I was thinking maybe of changing things up. Anyone have online suggestions for basic and/or some pots more interesting in the looks. I'm not a big fan of plastic pots, other than when they come that way. I did check a few places online and I liked some (some were super nice but $$). And if I let myself, I can spend a long time and lots of money on Etsy! I usually get my plants locally, but I did place my first online order for two small plants. I'm interested to see what they are like. Any favorite places to buy houseplants? Any favorite potting mix brand? This is a picture (from online) of the plant (a maranta lemon lime prayer plant). A favorite! Thanks.

I like Miracle grow potting mix. I usually get a big bag at Costco for my outdoor container plants but you can order it thru amazon if you want it delivered. I tried whitney farms potting soil once and was disappointed.

Thx traidoggie for the recommendation. I ended up just picking up a plain terracotta pot at my local hardware store -- which is what I prefer anyway. But some of those decorative pots that you can just put your plain old pot in are so nice. I was tempted when I went online. I didn't cave yet.
I ordered two plants online --- I'm so interested to see how they are. They come semi-bare roots and wrapped so they don't dry out. And fingers crossed they will last and look great!
