If you scroll down the main front page of this forum, all the way at the bottom just below the row of colored squares on the black bar, it says: Why not check out our most Recent Posts or Recent Threads.Try it! Very quick way to see what's new... so why not bookmark one or both of those links and put it somewhere handy (I use Firefox, so I can put it right up there on the bookmark bar at the top of the screen). Kewwwllll ! |

Two questions: Is there a way to remain signed in like at CL? and is there any way to change my colors/fonts...my monitor makes a lot of this very hard to read. I know, I should just get a new monitor ***blush****

I know, I should just get a new monitor ***blush**** : When you log in, just at the bottom of the box where you type your username is a checkbox for "Remember me". I ran a test in Google Chrome browser: I logged in, checking "Remember me", then I closed the browser completely, then started up the browser again, went to the website and I was still logged in. I believe this site, like many sites, uses cookies to remember your browser session data. If, when you close your browser, you have it set to clear cookies, then it will log you out. So, assuming you don't clear cookies, you should stay logged in. What I don't know is whether it will log you out after a period of inactivity. I've stayed logged in for a few days in a row, but then I've been fiddling with the site off and on. See if the "Remember me" check box helps. Anyone else have a problem with this? Changing colors/fonts: Fairly new here for the website layout/colors thing so I'm learning as I go. I don't think you have a choice to change the colors/fonts directly, but I think I can make different "styles" of website ("skins") available for you to pick from. I'll take a look at that and see what I can do. Bear with me... |

I clicked the Remember Me box yesterday and so far so good.
You can change font, size, color, etc. in your post.

Regarding changing font size and colors. As Charley pointed out, you can change the text that you write in your own posts, but if you want to see ALL the posts in a different color/size then requires a change to the forum template. Last night I made a change to the default font size for how all posts are displayed. I changed it from 10pt font to 13 pt. I hope that helps. I noticed that some text is not fitting so nicely in its little box, but I hope to figure out how to clean that up. We'll keep tweaking...

I wondered why the Home page was so large all of a sudden. I quickly resized for personal viewing.

Thank you. I did not see the "stay signed in" so will look for that.
My print is now gorgeous. Nice size and not clear-gray but black. Awesome! You are amazing for doing all of this!!
