I'm confused -- but will try to explain...
I was emailed a document (so it has them as the author, I think you see that when clicking on details, normally I see my name when it give specs).
So I open it, no prob. I did get a message that I had to convert it and might lose some of formatting. Maybe they don't have word or diff vers. So no prob, I read it, I was making track changes which I haven't done in awhile -- that way they can easily spot my changes to the doc, since in different color. ( So I saved it. I go to send it, and don't see in my documents ... you know when you see all the documents on your computer. I click on start, then click docs, and it shows me the whole thing). But I DO see it when it gives u the snapshot in word and lists your most recent. So I ended up sending it from there -- I think clicking on send as attachment. I still don't see in my whole doc. I even used a keyword that is in the title I gave doc (hmm, I think I did a save as since it has a different title).
Any help great. Thx.

Try looking for it in the folder where your downloaded files are.

Perhaps you saved but with a different extension? I use free program called EVERYTHING and in the search line I type a word or two that MIGHT be in title of my document. That brings up a list of all files on my computer (and the location, size, etc of each) that have the words in title. www.voidtools.com/ You might want to try that. It's a great program and I love it/use it everyday. FREE. Good luck. (I don't use .doc stuff, I use .txt for most stuff I save, so I don't know anything much about Word things. You must use Word to open things?
