I got this idea from Ravelry, the knitting/crocheting forum: at the bottom of every post are several words as buttons you can click (all or none) to show reaction to a post w/o having to reply. They are educational, interesting, funny, agree, disagree, love. That button line keeps count of the # of people who've clicked each button: for example, love (28), where the 28 would show up for all viewers, but the love/28 would only be boldfaced for the person who voted Love. It's a neat way to gauge reaction to posts, or to show support--I remember one thread where someone had posted about a death in the family, and the post was up to something like love (560) or thereabouts. Anyway, it's pretty cool; just a thought for this board. Thanks again for all you're doing to set up our new home here!

Another wonderful suggestion and it's up and running now! See the announcement. Thanks so much! (I am on Ravelry, too)

On Ravelry, want to join the Cooking Light Knitwits group? Would be cool to get that up & running again. Thought of another one: you know how the user's total post count appears under the avatar? It'd be great if that were an active link, so you could click on it & be taken to the user's posts in all threads. As long as I'm on the subject, it'd also be nice if that area showed "X posts in this thread," to help w/ long threads--you'd click there & be taken to everything the user has posted in that thread only. (Two more ideas borrowed from Ravelry--sorry to add to your "suggestion" list; I know you're busybusybusy!) I'll stop now.
