I saw this recipe on kalynskitchen.com and I thought it was really good. I didn't follow exactly but close enough. It is a cabbage slaw/salad -- and some of the ingredients include: rice vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, sesame seeds, sriracha ... and topped off with a few chopped peanuts. I used a cabbage mix from the store to save time. I wonder if most would have it as a main, side, with something else? This looks so good! I printed it off and will try it at lunch. I love cabbage slaw but avoid "creamy" dressings. I'll use toasted sesame oil and probably seasoned vinegar though I have both seasoned and un. I can't taste stevia and monk fruit sweetener is unfamiliar. I even have black sesame seeds though I like regular sesame toasted even better. thanks for posting.

trail doggie --If you try it, hope you enjoy it! I'm not a fan of mayo dressings so I always gravitate to this type of recipe. Gail -- you are most welcome, happy to share a good recipe. Like many slaw recipes -- I find it super flexible to add in other ingredients, more veggies (I added some shredded carrots) .... Here's another one that I made a few weeks back that I really liked. This one calls for more ingredients, more steps, more chopping and it is more of a peanut-sesame type salad. For this one the dressing has pb, rice vinegar, lime, soy, honey and .... so the first one is certainly a lighter tasting slaw (and quicker to make too). I would have it as a side, easily. If I added a protein (shrimp, shredded pork or chicken, or tofu), I would happily eat it as a main meal for lunch or dinner!

Ooh. Goodie! Major cabbage fan here and I prefer my slaws with vinegar rather than mayo. (wandering away, smacking lips)

I make a very similar one from the Food Network. When I bring it to potlucks, it's almost always the first to go. One note, though: for the amount of dressing called out for, you can use at least twice the amount of veggies.
