what do you have/love? and size?
DH picked some when we first moved here but I'm ready for a change (his pick was more wine-glass looking) for everyday water glasses.

Not entirely the same thing, but I absolutely love my Tervis tumblers. I have four large ones (24 oz.?) and four medium ones (16 oz.). I also have travel lids for all of them that get used most of the time. They've saved or greatly reduced countless spills around the house. They are the glasses we use on a daily basis.
I can also attest to Tervis standing behind their product. Had one tumbler seam fail after a couple years of use. They replaced it with a brand new one.

what walleycat said. I have a few sets of these in assorted sizes. eventually they get cloudy from dw deposits, or etching, but you don't worry about them breaking. they always look great and come in several sizes. I LOVE these. the link doesnt work.

I have some Picardie glasses and love how sturdy they are (and like the look too). Awhile back I was looking for some new drinking glasses and looked at a larger size of their Picardie glasses -- and they felt a bit too big when holding them so I just stayed with the size I already have. Also they didn't fit that well in my dishwasher since just a bit too tight when loading. I also have some Crate and Barrel glasses that they have sold for years (the ring ones).
Drinking glasses are a very individual thing .... the weight, how many ounces they hold etc.
I type this as I drink a big glass of water out a Ball jar.

I type this as I drink a big glass of water out a Ball jar. Until I got my Tervis tumblers I often used a quart canning jar as a glass. Only problem was they sweat like crazy during the summer, a problem the Tervis tumblers deal with nicely.
