In an earlier thread, MrsWaz is looking for some really good Instant Pot books. She wrote: Has anyone found any GREAT cookbooks that feature the IP? We bought a house this summer, and my mom bought me the 8 quart for a housewarming gift. I am loving it as much as I thought I would, but I really wish that someone would come out with a really good cookbook. Apps and web links and FB pages are all well and good, but they're just not the same as cozing up with a real cookbook and planning out a menu. [/font]
PattiA answered: You might like this: Dinner in an Instant: 75 Modern Recipes for Your Pressure Cooker, Multicooker, and Instant Pot® by Melissa Clark. Some of the recipes from it are on the NY Times Cooking web site. I've made a few. It was a pretty popular book when it came out last year so your library might have it.
MrsWaz responded: Yes! Thank you, that's along the lines of what I'm looking for. Cookbooks written by established recipe writers and cookbook authors.

Thanks for starting this thread. I have Instant Pot Miracle and Instant Pot Obsession but haven't found a lot of recipes in those for our style of eating. I do find them useful for guidance on liquid quantities and time but that's about all. The 75 Modern Recipes looks very interesting.

New e-book and paperback cookbook for breads just released, "The Pressure Cooker Yeast and Quick Bread Cookbook; Achieve Fabulous Flavor-Infused Breads in Instant Pots, Electric and Stove-Top Cookers." You can see a slideshow of the some of the recipes and read more about the book, and me, at my website, emelless dot com.
To help launch the book I am gifting free e-books to other bread-lovers for the next two weeks. An honest review on Amazon would really be appreciated but is not required. I hope you love the book and enjoy many loaves of homemade bread in your pressure cookers! Thanks, everyone! Em Elless

Hi and welcome, again, Em! As I posted in the other thread, we don't normally accept members here who are advertising products, but in the case of cookbook authors, how could we refuse? We LOVE cookbooks and recipes here. I'm very interested in reading your book, The Pressure Cooker Yeast and Quick Bread Cookbook. (I've already downloaded your book from Amazon--got it free because I pay per month for their books unlimited program. I intend to read it in bed tonight.) Here is a link to your book, for sale at Amazon: www.amazon.com/Pressure-Cooker-Yeast-Quick-Cookbook/dp/0578407469/ref=olp_product_details?_encoding=UTF8&me=Here's wishing you luck with the book! I hope people turn out some great stuff from it!! Would love to try some recipes, I am fairly new to using my Instant Pot and would like to branch out and try something other than soups and stews...

Happy new year everyone! I wanted to share a new Instant Pot Cookbook that I recently published with you all because I'm so excited about the value that I think it can provide. I wrote the book because my wife and I are busy professionals who typically don't have a whole lot of time to cook at home, but we enjoy home cooked meals & a lot of variety. We are also making one of our 2019 goals to eat healthier, so the recipes in the book are designed to help people like us to save time and have a healthier diet. Please check the book out because it's currently being listed for FREE on Kindle Unlimited or for purchase of $0.99 for a limited time. www.amazon.com/dp/B07M6CHTGWHope you have fun trying these recipes and please leave a review if you enjoyed the book! Thank you so much!

The 32 recipes were compiled by you, Ted Brown -- shown as author of this book -- at Amazon. Where did they originate (source of them) and did you make them at your own home (and did you modify the originals) before you put them in the book? I see there are no 'notes' about each recipe or how they taste or why you consider them healthy. Your introduction and conclusion tell us very little about you and your use of the Instant Pot or how you came about choosing these particular recipes or anything about Instant Pot usage. You don't mention if the recipes, as written, were ever tested at all. I'm left with recipes that tell me nothing about themselves or how they came to be here or who wrote them out in the first place. (And what is Mexican cheese? There are many cheeses called for in Mexican cooking.) Catbatty Happy new year everyone! Any suggestions for Instant Pot cookbooks that feature recipes for those watching their weight? I see "Lose Weight with Your Instant Pot" by Audrey Jones and "Instant Loss Cookbook" by Brittany Williams on Amazon. I want to play with my new toy but not sabotage my healthy eating! Thanks!

Barbara, I feel same. I want to cook and play with my wonderful (I LOVE IT) Instant Pot, but would also like to find recipes that support my weight-loss. We are really getting into a healthier diet, too. I get the feeling that Instant Pots are ideal for these goals. My daughter and my best buddy of 50+years, plus her neighbor and my neighbor -- ALL have Instant Pots and are all starting out pretty much. SO, I recently got my list of Instant Pot and Pressure cookbooks that I own (ebooks) and I'm looking through them to see what recipes I'd like to test here at my house. (I can't wait to have some good recipes to share with everybody!) So, a quick look-through brought me to this book. Just looking it over greatly impresses me: The Fresh and Healthy Instant Pot Cookbook by Megan Gilmore www.amazon.com/gp/product/0399582614/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0Of course, we all like different food and have different ideas about what helps weight loss and what is healthy, but this book seems to offer many interesting and healthy recipes. IF you go to the link at Amazon and open the Preview of the book (peek inside) it shows samples of the some of the recipes and even shows a full index. That should give you an idea of what book is like. You may or may not think those kinds of recipes will help with your goals. I'll keep looking through my ebooks to see if any of the others look doable for weight loss or healthiness and, important to me, appear to be quality books. OH, btw: this book provides nutritional analysis for each recipe. PS: The book is *not* the quick/easy type. I mean, in particular, that many of the recipes call for lots of ingredients...but I didn't notice any hard-to-find ones. I don't have any print cookbook recommendations, but I know there is a Facebook group Weight Watchers Friendly Instant Pot Meal Ideas And Tips. It has a lot of good recipes and user tips for slimming down other recipes and coping with food cravings in a healthy way.
I'm trying a Tandoori chicken Instant Pot recipe tonight.

Dear EM - I recently purchased your new yeast/bread cookbook through Amazon Kindle. Today I just got the chance to try the Chocolate Zucchini Bread and totally loved it. It turned out moist and delicious. I posted a comment on your Amazon site and invite you to look at it. I used honey instead of sugar and explained that in my comment. I thank you kindly for creating such a wonderful cookbook designed especially for us IP lovers. I can't wait to try a yeast recipe now. JamGirl(from Nova Scotia, Canada)
