I'm still so very sad. To have such talent and ability with a forum to share it...and feel such despair. Heartbreaking.
(sorry if this is posted on the wrong forum).

Me too. It's been a few days and every time I think of him I come close to tears. I loved him so much! He was kind of the original foodie and he was so REAL. When I am traveling and looking for places to eat, I always ask myself "Where would Tony go?" and look for something a little unusual and then challenge myself to order something unexpected. He really was a world changer and the world is a little dimmer with him no longer in it.

I loved watching his shows or hearing his interviews, he communicated so much but just used food as an entry way. I just so enjoyed him talking about where he was, the food, and loved his humor.
I read his Kitchen Confidential book when it first came out, and just started watching his show on CNN in the last few years.
So very sad. He really was an incredible story teller.

He taught us so much about being citizens of the world and there is so much more to learn. I hope his light shines on. I can't wrap my head or heart around the fact that he is gone. My heart aches for his family and friends, especially his young daughter.
