Mom was thinking of getting Dad a spiralizer for his birthday. Anyone have one they love?

I have the Paderno 4 blade spiralizer. I have had no issues with it. It works well for me. I don't use it often but when I do, It is "fun" to use and to eat the veggie noodles. I know a friend of mine spent a lot more money and bought the kitchen aid spiralizer attachment. It could not handle harder veggies well and her blade bent the first time she tried to spiralize butternut squash. The paderno has cut butternut squash, potatoes and other hard vegetables for me with no problems. I know a lot more varieties of spiralizers have hit the market since I bought mine. Oxo makes one which looks nice and I have heard good things about. The only other words of wisdom that I can offer is that I really did not need the 4 blade. I have only used 3 of the 4 blades. I opted for this one at the time because the difference in price was minimal (there was a special when I bought it plus I used a coupon) between the 3 blade and 4 blade at the time.

I have tried a few and I like the Inspiralizer the best. The reason is that the blades are all built in, you turn a knob to select the blade you want. No swapping in blades. Sweet potato noodles are my favorite. I do almost always use the blade for the finest noodles.
