Hi,
I'm looking to get a new duvet insert (a down alternative one). Any suggestions for brands/stores?
I think I want to get a medium weight one. I know they have "heavier/warmer" versions which could be great for our New England winters but might not work for other months.
And I need to keep away from buying new bedding too. : )
Thanks so much!

I had to order (because the store is in Seattle) ours and do not regret it. I has held up well and is the lightest version and still, super warm. IKEA. I think it was 14.99 when I bought it several years ago. I get two twinxl or twin and that way, DH can't tug or pull my blankets off of me. Smartest thing I ever did. Can't tell you how often I'd be startled from sleep without a cover, LOL. I also have used a wool blanket inside a duvet cover, which works well. I have a weighted blanket so had to go lighter because that added to the warmth.
Just googled it and shocked how much the price has come DOWN.
This is a "1" scale and they make warmer, poofier versions. This is very warm for us--don't forget the cover will also add to the warmth.
I rechecked my order from 2014 and it was 17.99 each. WOWzers; almost makes me want to buy it again but the ones we have have held up great.
