Sounds like you tried to view things, it told you that you can't because you have to be a member. Then it offered you a spot to sign up (register) so that you COULD view. That's normal enough. But somewhere on your screen prior to you trying to look in Birthdays, it probably had some spot to sign in and maybe you had already gone past that spot. Since I can't see the first screens you saw, I can't help because I don't know. I think it was not typical occurrence, however because, as I said, I've heard nothing from anybody else.

Mayber her and a lot of other people are having a hard time finding a place to sign in/register like I did. I had to click on Birthdays. When a guest comes to the forum, they should see in the upper right corner a little carrot man and a link to 'sign in' and a link next to it to 'join'. Try logging out and see if you can see that.

Could you ask Brenda to do that? I'm afraid I won't be able to log back on, and I never saw the little carrot man before. Even if you don't see the carrot man if you try to post or respond to a thread a window will pop up that says you have to log in. Click that button, enter your info if it's not already populated you're in.

We have 112 members which I think is impressive so most don't seem to be having issues. I logged out, came back and saw the carrot guy at the top. There were two buttons - one to sign in and one to join or register. Seemed easy to me. Maybe it's the browser you're using. I know at work I get frustrated because a lot of our internal web pages and links don't work properly unless I use Explorer and I'm usually in Chrome. Drives me nuts every time.

When I click on the "sign in" button it welcomes me as a guest. My way around is to go to one of the boards and click on "start new thread". Then I get the log in view. I am using Safari as my browser on my iPad.

I am using Safari as my browser on my iPad. In Safari on my iPad, when you click on the Sign In link, you get the Welcome drop down, click on Sign In again, and you'll get the Sign In screen. Admin-BevE or Catbatty Would you move these Sign In related posts to an Issues with Signing In topic in the Technical Support forum?
