Just read on Texas Storm Chasers that today is 9th anniversary of Ike's landfall in Galveston. It's eerie thinking back knowing what Harvey and Irma now have done to south Texas and Florida.
With many friends close to my heart living in Florida I've been beside myself with fear. Yesterday I found that a 93-year old relative was safe and had power restored but no Internet or TV. Thank heavens her mobile phone is working. Still waiting to hear from others.
