I found this recipe on Cultures for Health and was curious if anyone has tried making their own shampoo. It says shampoo should last 3 -4 weeks. www.culturesforhealth.com/learn/recipe/personal-care-recipes/honey-rosemary-shampooIngredients: 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup liquid castile soap 2 Tbsp. olive oil 1/4 cup raw honey 10 rosemary essential oil Instructions: 1.Place water in a small saucepan and warm gently over low heat until warm but not hot. Remove from heat. 2.Add castile soap, olive oil, and raw honey. Whisk until well combined. Cool in the pan. 3.Pour the shampoo carefully into a quart jar or other airtight glass container of choice. Add essential oil and seal the container tightly. Shake to combine. How to Use Honey Rosemary Shampoo: 1.Gently pour or spray over wet hair. Use only as much as needed to coat the hair and work up a slight lather. 2.Rub into hair and scalp from root to tips. 3.Rinse well with warm water and apple cider vinegar, if desired. Shelf Life and Storage Information: Store in glass jar or other container, in a cool place. Shampoo should last 3-4 weeks.

I've never heard of making your own shampoo (and I've seen lots of info about making laundry soap, cleaning supplies etc). If you try it, would be interested in seeing what you think.
