Total impulse buy, I remember reading a few days ago about how popular this item is (and that they have to limit the number you can buy in some locations ----really are they serous?). Anyway, I tossed it in my cart.
I was thinking of making some kind of stir fry and use this as a the "rice". Or, I remember seeing a Mexican fried "rice"that had cumin, tomato sauce ....
If anyone uses the oh so trendy, blog topic fav ....whether store bought or homemade, what are your go-to ways to use it?
Thanks.

Exciting!! I want to know how you like that. Never tried it. I've been thinking lots lately about-- I've never done it. I love cauliflower and am trying to eat less carbs...so sounds good! I didn't even know TJ's sold it. OH bOY! I bought TJ's Kung Pao Tempura cauliflower other day. Will let you know soon as we make it...camping in RV...it will be an easy one to make.

I haven't tried it (TJ's or making my own) but did see a woman at TJ's one day buying up ALL of the refrigerated bags of the riced cauliflower. Kinda piqued my curiosity but not enough to purchase it. Looking forward to your review.

Ok, we're all waiting for reviews. I've wondered about it using it as a rice substitute for Thai simmer sauces and maybe even gumbo.
Please share!

Still in the freezer. I'm surprised that there aren't lots of posters that have tried it (whether store bought or homemade). Thought there would have been lots of "been there, done that" -- where have you been. Ha.

I haven't tried cauliflower rice, but we like cauliflower mashed "potatoes". I'll have to try the "rice".

I thought I posted a few days ago, but I must not have completed the post.
I have made homemade cauliflower rice. I love cauliflower but cauli rice is just meh to me. I find that most recipes call for cooking it much longer than I like it. I only like it if the cauli is just barely cooked. It's a good way to bulk up low carb stuffed peppers if you would normally use brown or white rice. I've also used it fried rice and pilaf style with other veggies/herbs and a flavorful sauce. I haven't seen it frozen in my grocery store, but they do have the riced cauliflower in the produce section. I've done it in the food processor or the vitamix.
(I laughed at your been there, done that comment. I first made it 2-3 years ago.)

I do like that with the frozen you can use as much as you want --- that would be a bit of cauli overload if I got the fresh. You win trendsetter status. : )
