I have not used either of them. You are welcome to use my email for a test of thread-saving. I should probably get more tech savvy!

Wallycat and Natasha: Thanks both of you for letting me email you some stuff from my Evernote Web Clipper saves. This tool appears to be a way to share copies of webpages, threads, screen shots, etc. The program is free (unless you want to buy 1 gig of storage...and then it's about $35 a year)... You install it, place it's icon at top of your browser screen. Then you browse to pages or threads that you want to grab. You press the icon at top of your browser and it has a dropdown that asks you what your preference is: Full Article (which seems to be the entire thread), Simplified Article, which too bad...seems to strip out all extraneous stuff...good...but bad...removes poster name, too, and other options. I select Full Article and within seconds it says Save. (It always says Share.) If I tell it to share, it offers a place to insert an address. And it also offers other ways to share...email, Facebook, etc., etc.) I believe that Save saves it to the cloud....and then u, back in your own computer, hit sync and it brings the article to your own computer and has a really COOL way to sort and store and edit and stuff...built in...right there on your computer. It has columns that your can click on and sort by date, topic, whatever... you have to SEE this to appreciate it!!!!!!!! I urge you to go get the Evernote program and test it for yourselves. Then race over and grab entire threads that you want to save (or single pages) -- later or now you can share them with friends. It is giving you COPIES.... and copies are what we've been urged to grab at some forums that are shutting down, right? Well, this is a free way to get/share some of them. And I believe the links in them still function...if to places outside the shut down forum. it's probably www.evernote.com I am rushing, sorry.

Hi - SandyM from the old boards here. I love love LOVE Evernote. I used to have Evernote Food (for recipes) until they closed it out. I wish I would have thought to save recipes from the old CLBB to Evernote. Brilliant idea! I think it's WAY easier than OneNote.

Working on responding to that email note, JR. SO good to see you here! Or anywhere, for that matter.

Great to see you, too, Sandy. The message on the old board was a wonderful surprise! No rush to reply -- I'm just glad it didn't get lost in your junk folder
