New as of Feb 21, the Smart Oven AIR (with convection) by Breville
In case anyone is thinking about a new toaster oven, Breville has come out with a new one. We already had one and have used it a bunch for baking and toasting toast, but this new AIR one has more features (for instance, has a 'proof' setting (80F to 100F, or in between); and a dehydrate setting). It can hold a larger pans than the other models, for instance 13 by 9-inch baking pan, 12-inch pizza pan. It has interior light. Way more settings. I think it now has 9 rack positions.
(I wanted it for the Proof setting and my husband wanted it for the dehydrate setting -- although I think it only does one rack and it's about a 12 hour process...so it's not going to make him as much as he makes in the normal oven...which he is constantly running. He preps all kinds of food for his backpack trips...dehydrates pinto beans, for instance. So, as good as the dehydrate setting sounds, I think it would be something you might use for smaller amounts, like maybe kids snacks--thinking a coupla apples/bananas. I dunno. Haven't made anything in it yet except toast.)
Bed, Bath & Beyond has the AIR for $399.99 and if you have a 20% off coupon, that brings it down to $319.99. I looked everywhere and never found it to sell for less than $399.99, so we used our coupon at a local BB&B. It's new on the market, so not all the BB&B's stock it. Plus, it's their largest Smart Oven to date, so if you want one, you might want to call ahead or order online.

Sounds great. My sis bought me the Cuisinart steam oven (countertop) and I love it.
