I have mine in the box but haven't tossed it yet. DH opened the box when it came and I didn't' see an insert and am not sure if I got one. I wish they had set up a way to recycle. I hate the thought of millions of blades going into landfills. Even if they are in boxes, the boxes will decompose long before the blades do.

Beth,
I'm with you on that. And on marketing/pr perspective I think they could have included some kind of note -- like sorry for the delay, the safety of our consumers is job 1, happy cooking, and hey even mention some new products blah, blah. Just some kind of communication/contact that is more personal.
And, haven't used the processor yet. Maybe some hummus over the weekend to give that blade a whirl.

I used mine last week, just to test it out. I made some Maple Syrup squares that called for the crust to be made in the FP. I knew it was something that DH and DS would be able to eat without too much help from me.

I made scones over the weekend. I also ran it with the new blade first to check it. I heard that some folks are gettnig blades tha don't fit and are having to send them back and wait again for a new blade. I hope they sent a good blade for the wrong model and are not having manufacturing issues with the new blades. I do think the Cuisinart blade fiasco of 22016/2017 will be studied as a how not to in business/marketing/PR classes.
