To All Members -- in case you forgot (or didn't know):
To Be Notified that someone has sent you a Message - you need to check a box in your Profile (in that window, look under the Notifications tab). One easy way to get to your Profile is to click on your username.

Then, if one member wants to send a note (message) to one or more members (and if those members have checked off the right box in their profile), two things will happen for each recipient:
1) up by their username at top of screen they will see a number by the side of their name...and they just need to click there on their name and a dropdown opens showing a place to click for Messages.
AND,
2) they also get an email notification telling them there is a message (or notification) waiting for them.
