Re-organizing cupboards today -- I said: why don't we store our fresh potatoes and onions in that cupboard together? Makes sense to me. NO. NOT. Husband explained: don't keep potatoes and onions together when storing. Off gases affect each other.
I wondered if he is right...so went looking. Sure enough.
