Yes I miss those days too! Everyone would start sharing menus and recipes a month in advance. Fun times indeed.

I also miss the Brownie Fairy and Holiday Swaps -- and the times when you could do them without all the drama. It was just kindness and joy and virtual hugs.

I miss those days too and I remember them fondly. I also used to post my Thanksgiving menu and having that kind of camaraderie really motivated me to do all of that cooking. I really miss the old CL boards...I used to check in there daily and I learned so much about cooking from participating.
