I think this looks gorgeous. love chocolate and coffee. as usual with "Ina" dishes I looked at the recipe. holy cow. is this rich or what?? if I were offered it, I'd try it. some things are too over- the- top for me to enjoy. this looks like one of those. I was imagining something like the whipped cream/chocolate wafer cookie dessert I used to love. dont know if those wafer cookies are still around. this sounds is considerably richer.

anytime I look at an Ina recipe I immediately consider if it would work with 1/2 the fat and sugar, if I choose to try it. I did look at the recipe, and probably not in this lifetime. interestingly, I saw the cookies she used, Tate's bakeshop chocolate chip, in the grocery a day ago. since I am on the opposite coast , I was surprised. they were on a display near the Deli. weird. still not going to try this. Im not used to such overwhelmingly rich fare and doubt I would like it. still, fun to look.
traildoggie you can easily find it at "goodycs".I recently ordered the muffin cakes and chocolate wafers from this store for adding in the "Fruit Custard". The cakes and wafers were both fresh and of good taste.
