I have a meeting next week and we are all bringing some kind of snack. I'm new to the company so no idea what people typically bring and/or like.
It is an afternoon meeting, guessing about 8 people. Don't want to heat anything up, easy to transport, no dip or things that all digging into : ), not complicated.
Any ideas welcome.
It could be store bought or homemade, but I'm thinking homemade.
Any ideas would be great!
Thx

First thing that came to mind was a banana bread or maybe in mini muffin form for something on the sweet side. Other sweets could be cookies. Everyone likes a cookie!!
A dried fruit/nut/fresh fruit/cheese plate or some variation of that perhaps with crackers/spread.
Hummus and veggies or if you don't want to do the community dip in a bowl, make mini wraps/pinwheels using hummus and julienned veggies on tortillas. You could use other fillings as desired, too.
A big bowl of grapes!! Always refreshing and easy!
Popcorn or some sort of mixed chex like snack mix. You could include a spoon or scoop for everyone to take some in their own little disposable paper bowl if the community sharing thing is an issue!

I like the idea of cookies or muffins…small, easy to transport and most people enjoy them…your first meeting is the hardest since you don’t know what type of things everyone likes or brings…

Thanks! Going with the mini banana bread muffins. I was thinking of making the KAF Apple Oatmeal Bread (no idea of the name off hand). But since I have bananas ripening on the counter.
Thanks again!

You're so right, banana bread is fantastic. I do have these meetings online with my teammates. But we always prepare something to eat while we discuss work and no-work stuff. We've started meeting so often, that discussions on "healthy snacks" began (though I was against it, LOL). So here are some ideas I found here on healthy snacks for meetings (whether in person or online): - chocolate salty almonds - apple chips - chocolate almond butter banana bites - fruit roll-ups

I think a pie is a good idea. Or small sandwiches on a skewer
