I'm debating looking for a gadget that chops nuts and is easy clean up. Before I do, if you have tips that keep the nuts from flying around, please share. Thanks.

I used to have a pampered chef chopper that I used to chop nuts. It did a good job but it had a very small base so only a small amount could be chopped at a time. I bought it at the time to support a fundraiser and it was a great "safe" gadget my kids could use in the kitchen when they were young and helping me cook. It broke years ago and I have never replaced it nor really missed it for that matter. I just use a chef's knife now and that works for me.

Small quantity with a knife and board or even broken by hand. Larger amounts or times when I am impatient, I use the chopper attachment for my stick blender.
