I've been hearing lots of interviews with Priya Krishna and it has gotten me interested in her book Indian-ish, which she wrote with her mother. My library doesn't have it so I can't get it from the library. I am trying to not buy any cookbooks, but this one is tempting me. (I don't like ebook cookbooks.) We enjoy Indian food, but I don't have much of a collection of Indian recipes. Do you have or have you seen Indian-ish (it's a few years old) and if so, what are your thoughts on it? Thanks!

I just looked at it on amazon and can see the appeal. The "look inside" is a great intro to the book. I'm going to see if the library has this. I'm very tempted to get an ebook. I am not an ebook person either, but I have SO MANY cookbooks and the thought of the heft of books is making ebooks more appealing. Thanks for mentioning this one!
Editing to add, our library has this one so I've put it on hold. If you go to the amazon "look inside" and find any recipes that intrigue you, I can copy and paste them here once I get the book.
Editing again: you can always put in an inter-library loan. They scour the country and can get it to you. When I was a librarian at a public library, I once requested a book for a patron from Alaska (to WI).

Yikes, it looks wonderful, Patti and Wallycat! I've raced over to my lib website and put a copy on hold. (ebook) (9 peeps ahead of me at one county lib; 3 ahead of me at another. I am lucky that we have two counties here that abut each other and I get to borrow from both, hard and ebook both.) Thanks for bringing this book to our attention, Patti! Those two ladies sound so interesting and my gosh I love their dresses. I want some of those!! Hope the recipes are well-written and copy-edited. Couldn't see em in sample. (But I am so impressed with the text I saw there. I love all the details author provides and I like her personal writing style.)
