I came across this recipe online (Moily Yeh, Food Network). It sounded really good --- I haven't made it but I thought I would post it. The turkey burger calls for cumin and coriander seeds I don't have coriander and if I make the recipe I'll just sub ground cumin. I might check out that episode if she gives any subs and/or subbing/or just look up online. And watch that episode while on the treadmill. : ) The recipe got great reviews. I've only cooked with ground turkey a few times (or ground chicken for that matter). I've had turkey burgers a few times and sometimes not a fan, but I might give it a try since a big fan of these flavors and then on top of that, it has a tahini sauce. . www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/falafel-spiced-turkey-burger-8032071

That recipe caught my attention when she made it on her show and I copied it to my files, too. Haven't made it yet either but when the weather gets warmer and "burger" season begins, it's on the list of things to try. Let me know if you give it a whirl.

Is it bad that my first thought is that there are too many ingredients? But it does look good! Copied.

Hi Karen and Erin,
You both know I'm a sucker for anything Mediterranean and tahini. I just need an israeli salad with some feta to go along with it. That clearly must have been a typo/omission on the FN site.
I thought I would post since it sounded good. I'll review if I try it. And Erin, not at all. If I make it, less ingredients needed --- I don't like mint, no coriander .....

This sounds good, but I am likely to skip the egg and breadcrumbs in the burger. Also while I love cilantro, every falafel recipe I've made has used fresh parsley, not cilantro, so I'll make that swap too. I'll probably make these small like sliders or maybe even as meatballs, and serve on top of a Mediterranean salad.
