I am so glad to see a recipe including parsnips and turnips which is the only way to cook corned beef IMHO. I hadn't tried the beets but will definitely do that next time. I'm making beef stew Saturday and will use turnips instead of potatoes, along the with carrots, onions, mushrooms, etc. Thanks for posting this wonderfulness.
