Thanks for this, this is how I am going to make the mincemeat tarts I always make for my Mom at Christmas. A friend makes mincemeat and gives me some every year. These tarts with the star top crust are adorable. I usually make 2" round "hand pies", but I am a sucker for a cute mini dessert idea.

This an excellent mincemeat for pies, tarts and Mincemeat Bar Cookies. If you make the tarts, don't forget to sprinkle them with turbinado sugar before baking. My Grandson brought me some tarts from England and I thought the sugar was the perfect added touch.

My Grandson brought me some tarts from England and I thought the sugar was the perfect added touch. Yes, the crunchy sugar is a must. My friend who makes the mincemeat taught me to do that. She makes mincemeat squares, but I usually do tarts.

 Rudolph`s Tipsy Spritzer - 2 Cups Vodka 5 Cups Orange Juice 2 Cups Lemon lime soda 1/2 Cup Cherry juice 1/4 Cup Fresh lemon juice Chill all ingredients. Add to a large pitcher and mix. Serve over ice....  Seashells & Buttons -  s
