I know a very random question and incredibly specific, but does anyone have a Bertoia chair with a chrome finish or any type of furniture that is made of steel w/ a chrome finish? I've had this chair for years and it has some rust in a few places I was just wondering if this is common? I'm thinking I had it too close to a window at some point (and didn't realize it was too close and moisture got to it) and that's why there is rust? And if there is anything that I can do to it that's not too out there. Anyone have this chair or something similar. Issue with rust? I emailed Knoll but haven't heard back. I did some looking online but not much help yet. This is a the chair from their website. (I have what they call the chrome finish).

Is that comfortable? Can you sand then rustoleum it with the spray?
We have wrought-iron for our coffee table and I've been watching for rust, but so far, nothing. Hope someone with experience posts for you.

Thanks Wallycat.
I emailed the company and they said they recommend using a car wax (( think that was it) once a year. I didn't know that. I sent her pictures and maybe she will have some suggestions.
I haven't sat on the chair that much and it was fine, I wouldn't say I would curl up and read a book for hours. But I do LOVE the look .... especially if it was all shiny! I
