What do you use? Any preferences?
I've been using Finish Tabs for years (the powerball ones) but might want to try something else to see how it compares. One of my main things is that I don't want something very scented). I've used the powder too. I've seen tabs that you just toss in the dishwasher and not wrapped in plastic, I don't recall what brand.
I might want to try a more eco friendly (or what "seems" to be, since often so hard to tell). Do you have a favorite -- whether old school or perhaps a more eco friendly one?
Anyone try Ecover Tabs (I read somewhere very good review, but can't recall which one in their product line it was? Or ?
Thx.

I've tried cascade, finish and kirkland. The cascade did not do as good a job as the Finish but the Kirkland is about on par with Finish, so that's what we get.

I use Finish tablets "Deep Clean" - no citrus or fragrance.

I use Cascade liquid ( from Costco) plus Finish rinse agent.
I run the DW every day, but often a short/light cycle. I don't need anywhere near a full "pod" of detergent. the liquid lets me tailor the amount to the load. I have not seen Kirkland brand in ages.

I use Cascade Platinum, regular Cascade didn’t do a good job. I don’t run it every day just when I have a full load and I run it on tough cycle. I think it works great.

I'm trying out Cascade Pure tabs. I haven't seen any issues with them cleaning well. I prefer stuff without fragrance or dyes, plus we have a septic system so I look for septic friendly products. My dishwasher is a few years old. It gets run every few days and the only cycle I use is the express clean cycle.
