I want to make cookies (or some kind of dessert) but it can't have flour. I want something simple, no special ingredients etc, and I was thinking of making these Salted Peanut Butter Cookies that I saw on smittenkitchen. Anyone make them by any chance? I'm not a big PB fan in the slightest but my friend and her family are, so that is why the recipe caught my eye. The SK site, says it is "barely adapted, just a bunch of extra notes, from the Ovenly cookbook." If you have a cookie recipe that you love, sans flour, I'm all ears. The only ingredient I would need to buy is commercial PB like Skippy. They say natural will work, but I may stick with the reg Skippy rather than try my TJ's Natural PB. Here's a link to the recipe (I checked it does work). link
And love a good pic, so here's a picture from SK website. (they do look really good, might become a PB cookie fan after all).

I swear I made those, but if I did, I didn't write it down! Maybe I didn't because it takes a full jar of PB. Anyway, I did make these and they were really good. I should make them again. I've been craving a good cookie and I need a GF treat for mahjongg Sunday or maybe I should buy the PB and try the SK recipe! Gluten-Free Oatmeal Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Great to see you all on the new forum! They did a great job, and so quick too. Patti and Erin - thanks for the recipes, much appreciated! Will copy. SallyT I didn't realize that the bakeshop had a cookbook. I have had more then a few (ahem) things from their bakery. I did take a quick look online and the book looks great (so many great sounding recipes and photos). So between that and the fact that they have a combo of sweet and salty recipes, and that you love the book. I caved , I just ordered it from the library. Thanks all!

applecrisp - I'm SO jealous! You've been there??! Tell me more...
Here's my review of the cookbook:
1) The butterscotch blondies – FABULOUS
2) I loved the cinnamon rolls
3) salted caramel sauce – very good, but SK’s is better and easier
4) salted caramel buttercream (need more caramel)
5) strawberry ginger scones – COLOSSAL disaster. Dough never came together. Baked anyway, more like a muffin. What is up? I’ve made (literally) hundreds of scones in my life and never had a problem like that.
