Gremolata Pasta
Comments
Gremolata — a blend of parsley, lemon zest, and garlic — is a classic condiment that’s great on pasta.
Ingredients
1 package fresh fettuccine (9 oz.) 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley 1/4 cup grated Parmesan 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon minced garlic Minced zest of 1 lemon Salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste
Procedure
1. Cook fettuccine in a pot of boiling salted water according to package directions; drain.
2. Combine parsley, Parmesan, oil, garlic, and zest in a large bowl; season with salt, black pepper, and pepper flakes. Toss hot fettuccine in gremolata.

That looks like it would make a wonderful side dish! Hmmmm, even subbing rice. Welcome. I think starting a new thread includes calling it a post; posting (I hope someone can verify this) is when you reply to someone but starting a new thread is also posting.

Yum Kevin. Thanks! And welcome to GFF!! I thought you were making granola at first. Guess I never knew gremolata. LOL. I thought, granola on pasta? hahaha After getting my grip back, I realized that this is an easy pasta dish that uses all the ingredients I normally have on hand PLUS it sounds like something I'd love. (Folks, Kevin is a friend I met a few years back, online, in Living Cookbook group and later in Mastercook groups. Nice fella and I'm so happy he's joined us.)
Yeah, I think posting is posting...like writing/typing...but to an online spot. And thread starting is starting a topic by doing a post in an online spot, as in creating a new line of conversation. (You and I have spent lots of time in mailing list groups, where we send in and receive other people's emails. And in online forums, we don't use email to share, we type while online at a site.) That's my crappy way of *trying* to describe. LOL
