Rice? Oh dear. If I knew that, I've forgotten that. LOVE RICE.
But anyway, Swedishcook, thanks so much for posting about this!! I forwarded to my peeps. Article says THEY KNEW for years. Wow. And looks like we can thank Consumer Reports for being the first to research this...and now with further testing by other entity (commissioned by our Center for Environmental Health), yep, it's true. HATS OFF TO CONSUMER REPORTS, I SAY!

I read the arsenic article in CR years ago. I like rice and use it but not enough to be a problem IMO. I was concerned that with all the anti gluten people that rice and rice products were getting over used especially with children. CR went on to report that children were easily getting too much arsenic if parents were using rice and rice products versus other grains. I was researching it for a friend whose daughter was using an extremely limited diet with her children. don't know how it turned out.
