12/14 Rolo Cookies (twopeasandtheirpod.com) Chewy, chocolatey—yum! .8oz refrigerate for about 2 hours then bake 13-15 minutes.

12/29 Amish Cinnamon Bread (CC 12/18&1/19) Easy and tasty. The topping cin/sugar got hard and crackly and half fell off. Took 1:15.
12/25 Mushroom Bourguignon (SK) Really good. Used TJ’s veg broth and crimini.
12/24 Eggplant Marinara Flatbread (BA 10/10) Needs more cheese, but tasty.
12/22 Vegetarian Bolognese (CL 12/09) Very good veggie pasta sauce. Worth the effort?
12/17 Peanut Chicken with Green Beans (Pioneer Woman Magazine holiday 18) Spicy, peanutty, pretty good. Used sambal oelek. Forgot cilantro. No peanuts. Served over rice. Could probably increase green beans by half or more. Add other veg?
12/16 Chocolate Peanut Butter Tart (SK) Good. For all the talk, not as peanut buttery as I wanted, but still make again.
12/9 Peanut Butter Biscotti (CLBB?) Very good. Crispy without being hard. Don’t make 4 inches wide—logs spread. Didn’t use chips, but “frosted” one side with melted chocolate chips when cool.
12/9 Cherry Almond Coffeecake (CC 4&5/10) Not too almondy. Make in an 11x7? Cake layer was quite thin. Took 45 minutes to bake.
12/2 Herbed Camembert (BA/SK Everyday) Delish! Did leak. Probably left it in a bit too long. Mince garlic and add to herbs?
12/2 Sausage and Feta Phyllo Triangles (CLBB/Gourmet 3/92) Lots going on here, but all melded together into a very tasty bite. Plus, can be made ahead and frozen.

12/19 Pineapple Upside Down Cake (BraveTart) Good—pan overflowed. Needed more salt. Don’t use coconut milk in topping? Cut pineapple a smidge thinner.
12/1? Cinnamon Toasts (Great Cookies) Very crunchy, very cinnamony. Not very like a biscotti. Messed up cinnamon/sugar distribution.
12/1? Tuscan Almond Anise Biscotti (Great Cookies) Minus anise and zests for a plain almond biscotti. Used almond and vanilla extract and chopped whole almonds. Very traditional texture.
12/12 Marble Cake (MSL) Good, but I overbaked a bit. I wanted more something there.
12/2 Spinach and Feta Triangles (MS Appetizers) Needed more salt? Left off a bit of feta since it looked like so much in mixture, but maybe it needed it.
12/2 Apple Pie (BraveTart) Crust very tender and easy to work with. Apples not falling apart. I felt like the crust and filling needed more salt. LOTS of liquid. Tapioca starch didn’t seem to work at all. All 3 pies had different amounts of liquid though.
