For some reason I get duplicate email notifications. It has occurred since I signed up, including whatever confirmation that I received right at the start. Do you see any reason why this might be? Thanks!

I'm not certain why you'd be getting duplicate notices... if you open them, do they look exactly the same? Are the date-stamps exactly the same? When I joined, I got two emails - one saying the account was created and the other saying the account was approved. Did you get just these two, or did you get duplicates of each (therefore 4) There are a lot of notification options that you can set in your profile and if you choose to use a lot of them, I'm not sure if they overlap one another whether they will send duplicate notifications. For example, if you want email when you are quoted and when a thread is updated, this might lead to two notices (not certain, but may be suspect). Review your notification settings to see if you really want all the notifications that you are getting: - Go to 'Profile' (select 'Profile' from the colorful menu bar at the top of the page)
- Go to 'Edit Profile' (button is on the far right of your Profile page)
- Choose the 'Notifications' tab on the next screen, by clicking on the word 'Notifications'
- Review the settings: All the ones with CHECKBOXES are related to notifications you get here on the Forum; All the ones under the column Email control what emails are sent to you; it is these latter settings you want to review.
NOTE: you may have multiple sections of Notifications to review. - The topmost section is headed by a brown title line "Forum Notifications"
- Underneath this may be another section with a similar brown title, but this time the name of a Board in the forum; here are settings for notifying YOU that are specific to that Board. To see the settings for the Board, click the + sign next to the Board name. If you want to remove Board-specific settings, click the Delete button on the far right of the brown Board title. You cannot delete the main topmost section that has settings that apply across the whole forum.
Changes in settings are saved immediately for you, so there is no extra "save" step. After you've done this review and made any desired changes, let us know whether you continue to get duplicates.

Looks like this was a problem on my end and I just fixed it. Sorry to have bothered you with it!
