LOVE IT. There's even a murder. Plum is so beautiful. Anyone else watched it yet? Very different. IF YOU HAVEN'T and you want to, I suggest you start at beginning of series. (I am on 3rd ep now. Season 1.) New show. Want MORE like this. Good stuff, so far.

The previews sure made it look intriguing to me- thanks for the positive review. I may see if I can catch it and catch up on it.

It's weird, odd, different. The actress who plays Plum is so brave (naked, uncomplimentary shots, various parts of her body). So, the world has always told her that she is not worthy, because of her weight. She ghost writes...works from home for a fashion writer (Felicia, the Good Wife). Fashion writer? I'm not sure. Whatever. It goes from there. Nobody wants her OUT FRONT. She gets the message. Some anti-fashion terrorists...or whatever, out to sabotage the very profitable b.s. we are all sold constantly...about how to FIX ourselves...try to get Plum's assistance.
I *think* this is how it all starts... I'll have to go back and watch all 3 episodes again (with no interruptions from husband, telephone, computer stuff). I'm making it sound awful. But it isn't. So far, I have found it interesting and fun (compared to much of the stuff on tv during prime time).
I wonder if you will like it, MrsWaz. I have a feeling it will get mixed reviews.

I'm watching it. Quite different and a nice podium for women's dignity, weight, body image, self acceptance, etc. Plum is gorgeous. Definitely a sci-fi-esque take (not a sci fi fan) but well done and parts of it, funny. Certainly helps to understand and see the life of a heavier person and the societal burdens that are encountered.
